C. TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED, PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS, AND RETENTION PERIOD

1. Browsing Data

Personal Data may be collected independently by the Controller or through third parties. In this case, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire certain technical and IT Personal Data of Users (e.g., IP address, browser type used, operating system, domain name, and addresses of websites from which access or exit was made, etc.), whose transmission is inherent in the normal operation of the internet.

  • Purpose: Such data may be processed solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and/or to check its correct functioning.
  • Retention: Such data will be deleted immediately after processing.
  • Legal Basis: The processing is carried out based on the legitimate interest of the Controller in making the Website usable and ensuring secure navigation (art. 6, par. 1 lett.f). Exclusively for the specific profiling activity, the expressed consent of the data subject (art. 6, par. 1 lett.a).

2. Contacts by the user via email, phone contact, form filling

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of communications via email to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the data communicated by the user, including their email address, and the consent to receive any response messages to their requests.

  • Purpose: The personal data provided are used solely to fulfill or respond to the requests sent and are communicated to third parties only if necessary for that purpose.
  • Retention: The data is kept for the period necessary to fulfill the request and in accordance with current legislation.
  • Legal Basis: The processing is carried out for the fulfillment of a contractual and pre-contractual obligation assumed by the Controller with the service (art. 6, par. 1 lett.b).

3. Submission of resumes via the “Work with us” section

The provision of personal data for the indicated purposes is necessary to ensure the specific functionality present on the site to correctly send one’s application for participation in any personnel selection processes. The Candidate’s data collected by the Controller for this purpose includes: name, surname, email address, phone number, as well as all personal information and personal data that may be voluntarily published in the CV and in the “tell us a bit about yourself” field uploaded by the Candidate. No other processing will be carried out by the Controller in relation to the personal data of the Candidates.

  • Purpose: The personal data provided are used for recruitment and selection purposes or to propose other job offers consistent with the candidate’s professional profile (pre-contractual obligations) and for the fulfillment of specific obligations or to carry out specific tasks provided by laws, regulations, or community legislation (legal obligation).
  • Retention: Personal data relating to the profiles of potential candidates for open positions are kept for the time strictly necessary to ensure the proper conduct of the selection procedures. The personal data of candidates deemed unsuitable for any position are deleted within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days from the moment the Controller has deemed the candidate unsuitable for the open position. The personal data of candidates deemed suitable for other open positions are kept for the time strictly necessary to ensure the proper conduct of the selection procedures and, in case of a negative outcome regarding suitability for other positions, they are deleted within a maximum of 12 (twelve) months.
  • Legal Basis: The processing is carried out for the fulfillment of a contractual and pre-contractual obligation assumed by the Controller with the service (art. 6, par. 1 lett.b)

4. Links to other websites

The Website may include hyperlinks to other websites. By clicking on one of these links, the user may be redirected to another website or another Internet source that may collect information about the user through cookies or other technologies.

The Controller does not assume any responsibility or authority of control over these other websites or Internet resources, nor over their collection, use, and disclosure of the user’s personal data. It is necessary to check the privacy statements of these other websites and Internet sources to judge whether they act in compliance with privacy legislation.

D. DATA RECIPIENTS

The personal data collected are processed by the staff of the Controller, who acts under specific authorization, based on specific instructions provided regarding purposes and methods of the processing itself.

Furthermore, the entities designated as data processors pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR or sub-processors, whom the Controller uses to provide services and carry out activities within its competence, may be recipients of the data collected following the consultation of the Website or the use of services within the limits of their assignment.

If a data processor is designated through the services offered by the site pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR or a sub-processor, the data will be communicated to their Data Controller and/or their data processor.

E. DATA TRANSFER

No transfer of the personal data provided abroad is foreseen.

H. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Data subjects—the identified or identifiable natural persons to whom the data refer—can exercise specific data protection rights, listed below:

a) Right of access: right to obtain from the Controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed and, if so, to access the personal data and detailed information regarding the origin, purposes, categories of data processed, recipients of communication and/or transfer of the data, and more;

b) Right to rectification: right to obtain from the Controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete personal data, including by providing a supplementary statement;

c) Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): right to obtain from the Controller the erasure of personal data without undue delay when: i. the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were processed; ii. the consent on which the processing is based is revoked, and there is no other legal basis for the processing; iii. the personal data has been unlawfully processed; iv. the personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation;

d) Right to object to processing: right to object at any time to the processing of personal data based on the legitimate interest of the Controller;

e) Right to restriction of processing: right to obtain from the Controller the restriction of processing where the accuracy of the personal data is contested (for the period necessary for the Controller to verify the accuracy of such personal data), if the processing is unlawful and/or the data subject has objected to the processing;

f) Right to data portability: right to receive in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format the personal data and to transmit such data to another Data Controller, if technically feasible, only for cases where the processing is based on consent or contract and for data processed by electronic means only;

g) Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the data subject who considers that the processing concerning them infringes the Regulation has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the Member State in which they habitually reside or work, or the State in which the alleged infringement occurred.
